Lord Lawson Football
Year 3 had a great morning at Lord Lawson. They took part in some football skill activities alongside other schools from the local area. The children were able to use the skills to challenge themselves and work as part of a team and in small groups.

Football Skills
Year 3 had a great taster session ahead of their visit to Lord Lawson. They had to complete some skills which included dribbling the ball and keeping control when asked to stop. The children then competed in a game using these skills and speed to try and win.

Special Deliveries!
Today, our librarians delivered a surprise parcel of brand new books to each class for their book corner. The children enjoyed unwrapping their packages to reveal the lovely new titles and are looking forward to reading them.
Dance Festival 2024

Dodgeball
The children used their skills to apply to a mini match of dodgeball. The children were on two teams and had to attempt to hit the other children with their dodgeball. The children were very good at aiming and throwing.
Overheard on a Saltmarsh
The children in Year 3 have enjoyed exploring the poem ‘Overheard on a Saltmarsh’ by Harold Monro. The children have explored the characters of the goblin and the nymph and used their voices in different ways when performing the poetry.
