This week, Year 5 had the opportunity to meet two STEM superstars as part of our Road to Riat activities.
The children listened to Mike Glen and Heather Bates, who described their jobs and the journeys they undertook to achieve their careers. The children enjoyed finding out about their roles and were amazed when they found out that Mike had flown an aeroplane when he was 14 years old.
Their recall of information was amazing during an interactive quiz. At end of the session, they were able to ask their own questions that they had prepared for the STEM superstars.
