The children in year 3 used cubes to investigate how many groups a number can be shared in to. The children used a systematic approach by starting with 1 in each group and increasing it each time. They discovered that some numbers were even, other numbers were odd. We even learned that some numbers were prime numbers as they could only be shared by themselves and one. The children really enjoyed sharing what they had found.
