The theme for Safer Internet Day is, “Too good to be true?” We talked about the different reasons we go online and how we need to be aware that we can’t always trust everyone and everything we see online. Some people might pretend to be someone else or offer fake things to trick us into giving them money or personal information. This is called a scam. We learned if we think something is a scam, we need to remember to Stop, Close and Tell a trusted adult.
