This half term in DT, Year 1 were set the task to design, make and evaluate a chair fit for Baby Bear and what a fabulous job the children (and parents) have made! They began by drawing out their designs and testing out some different attachment strategies. They then moved onto cutting and decorating the seats, attaching the legs and finished off by stabilising the chairs and adding the final touches.
