On Wednesday 1st May, Year 5 enjoyed a virtual visit from historical author Francis Durkin. She gave us a fascinating insight into how she writes her books, from her initial inspiration to the finished product. We were able to ask her questions at the end of her talk and were thrilled to find out that we have won a bundle of her books.
