Soft Play Fun!

by Miss Todd | Mar 21, 2023 | Early Years Foundation Stage, News, PE, PSHE

Nursery and Reception have had lots of fun in soft play this term for PE. They started off by practising taking their socks and shoes off, using their good looking eyes and turning on their listening ears to keep them safe. Nursery and Reception both waited patiently to be told which station they were starting at in their teams. We took turns using the soft play equipment. We have currently all been practising moving our bodies in a range of different ways. We have practised climbing, balancing, sliding, rolling and pulling and pushing our bodies along the balancing beams and the other equipment. We have also been learning how to jump and land safely on two feet. Soft play really helps us with our hand and eye coordination, as well as helping us get stronger and develop our upper and lower body strength. We all love soft play!
