Angel of the North 10th Birthday Celebration DVD
The link below is to a short DVD (approximately 7m30s) which was produced by several groups of children from Gateshead as part of the Angel’s birthday celebrations. One of the group members was Amber Fenwick, a former Year 6 pupil at Barley Mow. We are proud, but not surprised, that one of our former pupils showed such initiative and talent in this activity. The Children’s Say Project
Another former Year 6 pupil, Megan Rutherford, was involved with the NCH project “The Children’s Say”. One of the outcomes of her participation was the production of a professional poster to raise awareness of the common core of skills and knowledge that the Government want all workers for children and young people to know about and do in their work. This poster is prominently on display outside the headteacher’s office for all staff and pupils to see and take notice of. Again, we are proud, but not surprised, that another of our pupils has shown such initiative and talent in this activity. A small version of the poster is shown below:
