Using a recipe for spaghetti Bolognese as a focus, the children have investigated the process of beef production and identified the nutritional value of a recipe.
The children used the nutritional information to adapt the original recipe to create their own version, thinking about improving both the taste and the nutritional value.
Finally, the children worked together to prepare and cook the ingredients to create spaghetti Bolognese.
