In Year 3 RE lessons, we have enjoyed exploring different parts of the Nativity story. We found out that journey that Mary and Joseph had to take from Nazareth to Bethlehem was 120km long. We explored the angel’s visit to the shepherds and how they were the first to hear the good news about Jesus’ birth. We went on to explore the visit from the three wise men and how this has been represented by different artists. It has been very interesting to spend time learning about each different part of the Nativity story and we have produced some lovely work.
