Year 1 have been introduced to Colin the Crocodile today he has been helping us to compare numbers using the vocabulary ‘Less than, great than and equal to.’ We have had lots of fun comparing numbers and feeding Colin the bigger number then reading the number sentences eg. 6 is greater than 2 or 7 is less than 9.
