In assembly this week, the children were very lucky to have a visit from Councillor Joe Sowerby. He spoke to the children about his role as a councillor and shared with them how he campaigned to win votes in the election.
The children will soon be holding their own elections for school council members and will be able to use this information to make their own campaign speeches.
