To start this term, Nursery have been looking at the story ‘Colour Monster’. We started by identifying the colours and sorting items from the classroom. We then explored different activities within the provision. We developed our fine motor muscles by cutting paper and threading string to create colour monsters. We also explored facial expressions for different feelings by making faces using loose parts. During Welcome Board, we used the colour monsters to support us when talking about our feelings. We took turns to speak and to listen to how our friends were feeling.
