What a fantastic day we have had!

Today we visited St Mary’s Island as part of our English unit ‘The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch.’ We began on the beach making sand art then we explored what it was like to be a lighthouse keeper and his assistant 125 years ago and then managed to climb the 137 steps all the way to the top to see the fantastic views!

After lunch we headed back down to the beach to carry out some rock pooling, we managed to catch some prawns, edible crabs, shore crabs, hermit crabs and even a sea hare!
