In our maths lessons today, we have been learning to weigh objects and to convert kilograms to grams.
We started by learning that there are 1,000 grams in 1 kilogram. We used scales and read the intervals carefully to find an an accurate weight of the different objects.
We went on to convert weights in kilograms to grams and vice versa. We used bar models and number lines to help us convert and we discussed with method we preferred.
