Year 2 have been learning to measure objects to the nearest cm with a ruler. The children watched carefully how to use a ruler correctly then practised measuring different objects round the classroom with a friend. They then tried hard to use a ruler independently and followed the ruler rules to make sure they were measuring accurately.
