In Geography this term, the children in Year 6 have undertaken an independent fieldwork enquiry. As a class, the children decided to investigate the question, ‘Is there a link between graffiti and litter in our local area?’
Before carrying out the fieldwork, the children selected two locations within the local area to investigate their questions and identified the six-figure grid references on an OS map.
As the children completed their fieldwork, they took photographs in each area and completed Likert scales and questionnaires to gather the views of people in the local area.
After they carried the fieldwork, the children created written reports to share their findings.
