Reception have been using computational thinking today to create a scarf for a snowman. They continued partially completed ABAB or ABCABC patterns before planning and creating their own. Reception were really good at making predictions about what would come next and discussing similarities and differences. They were encouraged to check their work and make any changes where needed. Finally, the children discussed what they liked about their patterns and what they would change next time.
