In English the Year 3 children have been exploring their new text for this half term ‘A Giant Dose of Gross.’ The children have been learning about features of a non-chronological report and how our book is structured. The children were given a selection of introductory paragraphs and had to use the clues to write their own titles for that chapter. The children were then given the original title and had to match it the correct paragraph. The children worked very hard using their skimming skills when reading and highlighting key points which might give them a clue.
