Reception have been exploring colour mixing. We painted each hand a primary colour, placed it onto the paper and then rubbed our hands together to find out what colour they made. We then added a small amount of black or white paint to make the colour lighter or darker. Finally, we explored mixing colours in the paint palettes in the art area.
