In design and technology year 3 explored pictures books with moving mechanisms inside. The children used ideas from other books to plan, design and create their own Christmas books which had to include a mechanism. The children then created their books using their ideas. The children had the chance to share their books with some Nursery and Reception children and then evaluate their books thinking about what went well and how they might change their books if they were to make it again. The children really enjoyed the making process and sharing them with the younger children to get instant feedback from them.
