As a start to their history topic this half term, Year 4 looked at four of the world’s most important ancient civilisations.
To begin with, they had to discuss what a civilisation is and if they were to create one on a desert island, what their priorities would be for their people.
They then looked in more detail about the location and accomplishments and legacy of each of these civilisations. They learned that some of the concepts or items that were created over 5000 years ago, have not changed very much to still be in use today!
