One of our topic stories this term has been Owl Babies. We used this story to inspire our maths lesson by exploring how many owls were in the picture. We worked as a team and used conkers to represent each owl. After this we matched the corresponding numeral to the correct group. Some of us even had a challenge to show this on our fingers!
