Alongside our maths lessons in Year 1 we have been following the Mastering Number programme from the Maths Hub which supports the children to develop good number sense and help build firm mathematical foundations. The children especially like it when the Number Blocks come to help us! This week the children have been making staircases with the interlocking cubes to help us grown and shrink numbers.
