Nursery and Reception have been getting all excited and ready for Halloween this week. We turned our home corner into a spooky house and made spells in our cauldron. We made colourful potions in our water area, made scary spiders out of play-dough, with googly eyes and pipe cleaners. Saved different numbered numicon from a spiders web whilst counting its shape, painted pumpkins outside and got dressed up in scary Halloween costumes. This morning we made biscuits with spider web icing with Mrs Jones to have at golden time and we finished the day with a Halloween disco, where we played musical statues, Halloween musical bumps and spooky corners. Some of us were so good at the games, we even won prizes. Nursery and Reception have worked so hard this term and have rightly earned a well deserved rest. Happy half term everyone!
