Today we had a special visitor in Year 4, Kirtida from the ISKON temple in Newcastle. She was full of interesting stories and information about the Hindu religion! We have learned lots in class about Hinduism over the year but it was really special to get Kirtida in school to share with us her thoughts and feelings. The children had great fun dressing up in some of the traditional Hindu clothing and looking at the dolls of the Gods and Goddesses. It really brought what we have learned to life!
