Gibside. 🏛

Nursery and Reception have had an amazing day today at Gibside for our school trip. We started the day in our groups where some of us were looking for mini beasts among the bark and mud using the magnifying glasses. The other group made art using the nature around, including, using mud and sticks to draw a picture on our paper or leaves and sticks to create our own individual artwork. We then made bark rubbings by holding our paper against the tree and using a crayon pressed down to make our picture. We then all swapped over to do the other activity. Nursery and Reception then stopped for lunch, where we all got the chance to run around and play on the grass together. Nursery and Reception then had some fun in the play park during the afternoon before the bus came to collect us. Today has been a fantastic day in the sun with our school friends and we can’t thank the parents enough who came and helped us. We also showed everyone how well behaved we are today!
