In science at the minute, we are looking at the topic of classification. We sorted a selection of animal models into different categories and groups. First, we separated them by one characteristic that they had either had/ did not.
Then, we made Venn diagrams and chose two different characteristics. We noticed that with some of our choices, our central overlap had no animals that could meet the criteria such as having four legs and wings, or having wet, scaly skin and having live young.
We discussed why this was before looking at the characteristics of each vertebrate group.
