Reception and Year 4 have been taking part in gardening club this half term. The children have been tidying up the outdoor area by weeding and removing any overgrown plants. They have been learning how to use gardening tools safely and which tools are most appropriate for certain jobs outdoors. Seeds have been planted ready for the coming year. We even planted some wildflowers in celebration of King Charles’ Coronation. The children have been learning how to look after the plants and what they need to encourage them to grow. We will be keeping a watchful eye to see our plants grow after working so hard to plant and look after them.
