Year 5 enjoyed a really interesting visit from Mr Glickman yesterday. We have been learning about Judaism in our RE lessons and Mr Glickman came to our class to share his knowledge and experience of being part of the Jewish community in Gateshead. We learned about Jewish prayer clothes and how and why they are worn. We discussed Jewish symbols and found out what happens during Shabbat.
