Year 2 were given a challenge today to help King Charles prepare for his royal coronation. First of all we looked at old paintings and portraits of coronations from the past and looked for clues that were the same. We spotted lots of traditions and objects that a monarch is presented with in the ceremony and wrote these down for our future king. We then drew a royal portrait for King Charles III which would be perfect for Buckingham Palace!
