For their poetry recital, Year 4 researched and practiced the poem, ‘The Sound Collector’ by Roger McGough.
They practiced adding emphasis and capturing the rhythm of the poem without leaning too much on the rhymes.
They also wrote their own version of the poem, with the stranger visiting school instead of a home.
