This morning Year 1 and 2 took part in a very important workshop all about road safety. We learnt the ‘Green Cross Code’ and practised important rules of STOP LOOK LISTEN and THINK. We learnt to stop and stand at the pavement behind the kerb and to use our eyes and ears to look and listen for the traffic. We then found out why it was really important to look right first to keep us safe. We also learnt all about good places to cross a road.
Everyone listened so well and promised to follow these rules at all times.
