It was wonderful to see so many children dressed up for World Book Day last week. We celebrated by dressing up as our favourite book characters and bringing in our favourite books. In our special World Book Day assembly, we unveiled 400 new books that The World of Stories Partnership have kindly donated to the school. In the afternoon, we had our poetry recital where each class performed their poem to another class. Teachers have recorded each class and the performances will be uploaded to the website. We ended the day with a story swap: the teachers went into different classes and shared their own favourite stories. What a lovely day we had!
