Year 2 have had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day and listening to lots of different stories. We even had a visit from staff from Gateshead Library. They shared with us their favourite stories. One was called Octopus Shocktopus by Peter Bentley. This is a fabulous rhyming story about an octopus who lives on a roof. Our visitors then worked with us to make up a super poem all about an octopus. We had great fun using our imaginations and rhyming words.
