In Year 2 art lessons the children have been looking at different sculptures by the sculptor Antony Gormley. We found out his works include our own Angel of the North. We thought about how the sculptures made us feel and we experimented with tinfoil to make our own sculpture. We went on to use wire and then paper mache and were able to make a human form. We used metallic paint to paint our sculpture and were so happy with the results.
