Year 2 have been working hard developing their understanding of shape. They have looked at the similarities and difference between 2d and 3d shapes trying hard to name them and explaining clearly how they know by counting the sides and discussing properties. They discussed efficient ways to count faces, edges and vertices and even helped Mrs Chapman count vertices by making shapes as sometimes she muddles them up with the edges.
