Today, as part of their ’Sound’ topic, Year 4 investigated how the distance from a sound source affects the perceived volume of the sound.
They thought about their previous sound knowledge, made predictions, worked out their method and how to keep their investigation fair, then carried it out.
They recorded their results, then made their conclusions referring back to their scientific knowledge.
