In RE, we have learned that the title, ‘Prince of Peace,’ is often used to refer to Jesus Christ especially during the Christmas season. We looked at symbols of peace and talked about what peace means to us. We listened to the gospel accounts of the birth of Jesus and considered the message of the angels to the shepherds about Jesus coming to bring peace on earth and goodwill to all people. We went on to produce a piece of artwork, using symbols of peace and sharing our own message of peace at Christmas.
