In maths, we have been learning about improper fractions and mixed numbers. An improper fraction is where the numerator is greater than the denominator. A mixed number shows a whole and a fraction. Today we used cubes to help us convert mixed numbers into improper fractions.
We went on to use diagrams to help us find our answers. When we began to feel more confident, we were able to use multiplication and addition to calculate the improper fraction.
