Reception have been reading Dear Zoo and discussing the different size and shapes of the boxes. We discussed which animals might fit and which might not! We had an unexpected delivery to our classroom and noticed a small hole becoming bigger each day. We used our knowledge of animals and their size to try and guess what could be inside the box. We finally managed to find the answer…a little bird had been in our class to visit and was now safely back in his nest in our outdoor area. What an eventful few days we had!
