Today Year 3 had an exciting and fun filled day at Segedunum. We spent the morning in training to be Roman soldiers. We marched for miles, took part in combat training so that we would be ready to fight the Celts and found out about all the jobs that the soldiers would have to carry out whilst living in the fort.
We enjoyed a sunny picnic lunch before climbing to the top of the viewing tower to take in the spectacular view. We then explored the ruins and looked around the museum before heading back to school ready for home time .
