Year One were introduced to one of my favourite Julia Donaldson stories today ‘The Smartest Giant in Town.’ We read the book together and then created some actions to help us remember the Giant’s song. We thought really hard about some interesting questions that we would like to ask George then we dressed up as George the Giant and carried out some hot seating to help us fully understand his character.
