Year 4 have been starting to learn about the life of Anne Frank and why she is such an important figure in 20th Century history. Today they looked at facts about her and her life and tried to sort them into sub-headings.
They discussed what sort of categories they could fit the information under and worked in pairs to do so.
They then were able to look at the list of facts and tweak them so they would be a more coherent paragraph, adding conjunctions and changing pronouns to avoid unnecessary repetition.
