Year 1 have been learning about some of the stories from the Old Testament of the Bible. We enjoyed listening to the story of Noah’s Ark and then acting it out using the wooden ark and animals. We also enjoyed singing “The animals came in two by two” song. This week we have explored the story further by discussing the importance of the rainbow as God’s promise that he will never destroy the whole world with a flood again. We talked about what a promise is and the importance of keeping our promises. Finally we wrote our own promises. Hopefully we will all be able to keep our promises.
