We have been celebrating science week with Mel from NUSTEM. Nursery and Reception have been exploring light and dark. We read the story ’The Black Rabbit’ by Philippa Leathers. We discussed shadows and then explored our own. The children explored the dark den, torches, light box and invisible ink pens. Some of our grown ups came into school at the end of the day to make shadow tubes with us. The children will be exploring our shadow puppet show role play area for the rest of the week.
