Year 1 have been observing and describing the weather over the last few weeks. Every morning we take and record the temperature using the thermometer outside our classroom. We loved using an anemometer to measure the wind speed and a weather vane and compass to work out the direction of the wind. We made our own rain gauge and use this to measure and record the rainfall over each week.
Stay safe in storm Eunice this weekend! Perhaps it’s best to watch the weather out of your window rather than venturing out in it!
