As part of their light topic, Year 6 have been investigating how shadows are formed and how shadows have the same shape as the objects that cast them. First, they experimented with a torch, paper and on object. Then they moved the torch to different places and heights to see what would happen. Also, they predicted where he shadow would be if the torch is in different positions and checked their predictions. Finally, they had some fun making shadow puppets.
