Nursery and Reception have been celebrating Chinese New Year. We turned our role play areas into Chinese restaurants. We made red envelopes, money wallets, lanterns, dragons and lots more. The children had a go at recording Chinese numerals. It is the Year of the Tiger. We explored tigers in our small world area and painted tiger stripes. Reception and Nursery enjoyed dancing with the tiger, their dragons and musical instruments. Finally, we ended the week by having a feast! We tried different Chinese food and listened to Chinese music.
