To begin our Vikings topic, we looked at the areas of history that we previously studied previously throughout our time in Barley Mow and placed them in Chronological order. We decided which periods of history happened before Christ (BC) and after Christ (AD) and which time periods overlapped before learning about when the Viking period began and ended. We discussed which period of time or historical events would be classed as ancient or modern history and why. Finally, we discussed what events in our living memory may be recorded on a timeline in the future.
